As summer ends, so do our summer interns’ adventures at Axiom. This summer we welcomed five new interns to the team! We have witnessed our interns grow and flourish throughout different departments, so let’s recap and hear about their wonderful experiences.
Speaker Series
Each week, our interns got the chance to sit face-to-face with company leaders within Axiom, learn about their experiences, receive life advice, and ask questions. The Speaker Series is a great opportunity for our interns to gain insight into other departments in our company and learn how they operate.
Here’s what Riley, our Marketing Intern said about the Speaker Series:
“The Speaker Series was one of my favorite parts of the internship because we got the chance to sit down with people who work at Axiom and hear about their diverse journeys. It was inspirational to talk about how they got to where they are today.”
Intern Outing
Starting off their Axiom adventure, we took our interns to Amp Up Action Park in St. Louis, where they got to spend time and connect with employees from different departments. It was a wonderful time to have fun outside of the workplace by playing arcade games, axe throwing, and go-karting!
Here’s what Sydney, our Digital Marketing Intern said about the Intern Outing:
“I had a great time getting to know the other interns along with our mentors. One of my favorite parts of this internship was getting to know and connect with people in every department and this outing was a great way to reinforce that!”
Top Workplaces & Ice cream truck
For the third consecutive year, Axiom received a spot on the Top Workplaces list! We have an amazing team, and it was a great honor to be recognized for our engaging and rewarding work culture. To help us celebrate, we had Lily’s Café Ice Cream Truck. Employees received ice cream and got to hang outside to enjoy the nice weather.

Intern Volunteer Day
As a part of our summer internship program, interns get the opportunity to choose a place they wish to spend a day volunteering at. This summer, our interns chose the Boys & Girls Club of St. Charles County to help them prepare for their “Back to School Bash”. The interns organized donations and filled backpacks with school supplies. It was a great day giving back to the community and spending time with each other.
Here’s what Miranda, our Accounting Intern said about Intern Volunteer Day:
“Our volunteer day was an amazing opportunity to give back to the families in the community. It felt great to be a part of something that is going to spread a lot of joy!”
Pizza Party with the Interns
As a way for our interns to get the chance to connect with more employees, they hosted a Pizza Party meet and greet. They had an amazing time meeting different people that work at Axiom and enjoying a “slice” of fun with them!
Here’s what Elliston, our Data Science Intern said about the Pizza Party with the Interns:
“I had a lot of fun, and the pizza was delicious! It was great to be able to meet so many new people from different departments.”
