After sitting down with long-time Axiom team member and recently promoted Claims Manager, Bob Hesse, we gained insight into his future vision of Axiom. Bob was previously the GAP Claims Supervisor and has shown the competencies to step into a larger role with Axiom.
When asked what past experiences have prepared him to take on the role, Hesse answered with, “I have been in the automotive industry for 30 years working as a technician, warranty administrator, insurance adjuster, and now working in management. During my career, I have completed my master’s degree in Business Management, ASE Certifications, and Insurance licensing and certifications. I have had great business mentors that have provided knowledge and guidance. It is through all these experiences that I feel prepared for my new role with Axiom.”
In just 2021, the Claims team added 15 representatives, growing the department to 29 employees. To continue efficient processes and improve productivity, Hesse said, “I plan on hiring qualified associates with the skills and experience that support our industry, goals, and culture. In addition, my goal is to provide excellent customer service, timely administration, and flexibility to change with the industry via training our associates and management team.”
Having an in-house, ASE-certified Claims team sets Axiom apart from many others in the industry. In addition, Hesse explained, “Our claims department is a well-balanced team with excellent skills and knowledge of the automotive industry. We are constantly evaluating our processes and learning how to work with our customers and dealers for a better claim experience.”
The Axiom Claims team is always growing and hiring additional representatives. If a career in automotive, outside of the traditional shop work, is something that interests you, Bob encourages you to look into open positions, “Go to our website and research our organization, the positions available, and our story. We have industry leading technology, great people, and an excellent work environment. Our hiring process consists of an initial phone interview to introduce ourselves and get to know a little more about an applicant. The next step is to have an in-person interview to meet the applicant in our office. We would discuss the position in detail, learn more about their experience, and knowledge, and show them our day-to-day operations.”
At Axiom, we have high hopes for this new era of our Claims department under our Claims Manager, Bob Hesse. To be a part of this constantly evolving workplace, visit our career page to learn more.
