Video/Video Editor

We are looking for a guru in video creation, someone that loves pre-production, production and post. If content creation and stellar editing skills are your thing, we need you here at our forward-thinking, fast paced automotive products and technology company headquartered in O’Fallon, Missouri. Axiom is disrupting the automotive space and was the Fastest Growing Private Company in St. Louis in 2018.  As part of the growth and vision, we have built-out an in-house studio so we can make video a bigger focus in 2019 and beyond.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capture studio-quality photographs and video
  • Work with Marketing Manager and VP of Creative to create video schedule and content
  • Work on storyboarding and scripting for videos as well as production planning
  • Video output to include social media influencer videos, product videos, training videos (both client and consumer facing), and company culture for internal and external use.
  • Assist with technical aspects of video production
  • Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video editing
  • Follow company’s brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with our marketing/creative teammates, as well as other departments
  • Present and effectively communicate ideas to senior management as needed
  • Assist in developing an overall video brand messaging strategy
  • Support the evolution of the Axiom studio which includes podcasts
  • Other video and production duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Self-starter who is always pushing to grow and learn new skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • BA/BS in a relevant field (film, video production, marketing, communications, etc.)
  • Rockstar Adobe skills including (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
  • 2 years of experience in an agency or freelance video editing
  • Experience with video pre-production and production a plus
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Extra awesomeness: Have motion graphic skills

Equipment we currently use: Canon 80D DSLR, iPhone, GoPro, DJI Ronin-S, Green Screen, Rode Mics and Sony Wireless mics, Dracast LED lights.  

This is a full-time position located on-site at our O’Fallon, MO headquarters. We offer a laid-back work atmosphere where new ideas and innovation are always encouraged. Claims Payment Analyst

Position Summary
The claims payment analyst is responsible for the overall handling (reviewing, approving, and denying) of claims submitted by our customers. Claims are received through a variety of sources (i.e. system, reports, manual reviews, fax, email, etc.).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review claims received in the claims fax/email box.
  • If all policy guidelines are met, the Claims Analyst is responsible for paying the claim to the customer.
  • If claim fails to meet Axiom policy, the Payment Analyst will send the information to a Mechanical Claims Analyst to follow up with the customer.
  • Set up check payment for claims that require manual payment.
  • Assist the Axiom Claims department with payment questions.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework desired.

Experience

  • 1-3 years automotive claims experience desired.
  • Previous Warranty claims program knowledge is desired.
  • Basic mechanical automotive background required.

Mechanical Claims Analyst

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Process Axiom products (Mechanical claims, PPM, GAP, Road Hazard, and other ancillary products.
  • Respond to inbound calls in a timely manner using the utmost professionalism.
  • Gather information from customers, service advisors and dealers to help us make the best decision possible.
  • Guide both customers and repair facilities through the claims process. Explain the information needed to process the claim as efficiently as possible.
  • Take detailed notes of conversations.
  • Review estimate submitted by repair facility.
  • Review contracts in system.
  • Ensure understanding of and follows special procedures that may be in place according to Dealer Notes.
  • Compare coverage on contract to estimate (Pull parts & labor times in Alldata and inhouse parts and labor guide).
  • Request any additional information that you may need to make the best possible decision.
  • Order inspection if required by policy.
  • Escalate questionable claims to a supervisor.
  • Authorize/Deny claim.
  • Serves as a back-up to claims payments.
  • Answers general question calls.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a service writer or technician.
  • ASE Certified.
  • Familiarity with Alldata.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Resourcefulness.
