Michael has spent the last 24 years in the Automotive industry working in Automotive Retail, Insurance, F&I Product Development, Reinsurance and Technology. The past 17 years have been devoted to creating, building and managing risk based F&I protection and automotive benefit programs for some of the biggest brands in the automotive industry. In addition to traditional and innovative protection products, he has focused on technology and software development related to the F&I and Connected Car industry. With a 360 degree acumen in Automotive Product Development, Administration, Product Compliance, Pricing, Risk Management, Reinsurance and Technology, Michael offers a unique perspective in bringing solutions to Axiom. When not working on Axiom projects, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and three children at the lake in the summer or riding ATV’s year round.
Chief Operating Officer
For over 40 years John has led organizations with claim dollar volume of $300 million annually as a top executive leader in claims operations. He has formulated cutting-edge procedures and honed existing processes to control claim losses and simultaneously provide outstanding customer service. The implementation of these strategies has resulted in some of the best loss ratios and highest customer satisfaction ratings in the industry. In addition to decades of innovation in claims operations, John brings the same creativity to the design and execution of business operations but his main focus is to establish policies that promote a company culture and vision that places the value of associates as top priority. John believes the success of Axiom lies in its high-performance team that is supported and empowered with not only the latest technology but also the ongoing support of senior management. With his vast experience John serves both as executor and mentor to the entire Axiom team.
John and his wife, Kim, retired briefly in Florida before joining Mike in his passion and mission for Axiom. He enjoys reading trade publications to stay current on industry trends and enjoys travel in his spare time.
Suzanne joined Axiom back in the garage days, and has been an essential part of Axiom’s growth from the very start. With her 30 years of accounting experience, she brings an intense work ethic and diligent account management skills to Axiom. Between payment processing, state filling, internal and external reporting, Suzanne works with just about every department in the dealer environment. She and her husband Darren are Texas natives with 6 kids and love rock climbing, hiking and traveling. Suzanne’s favorite place she ever traveled was Vieques, a Puerto Rican island where she lived the true “local experience”.
Chief Technology Officer
Sergey is an experienced IT professional with over 16 years of experience and proven track record in system development, architecture and project management. At Axiom, Sergey manages all application development, data reporting, building and management, business intelligence/analysis and technology-related projects. He spends his time between the U.S. and Berlin, loves traveling and volunteering for archeology expeditions.
VP of National Sales
Tom comes equipped with 33 years of automotive industry related experience. From automotive retail in Sales, F&I Management, Sales Management and General Management, to the independent agency channel as an Account Manager, Tom possesses a thorough understanding of every aspect of the dealership and F&I industry as a whole. In the early stages of Axiom, Tom’s depth of industry knowledge helped to establish many of the processes and procedures that Axiom adheres to today. Currently, Tom oversees key national accounts and continues to elevate Axiom’s awareness to elite agents coast-to-coast. Tom is also a great resource for fitness and nutrition advice. He is so caring that you don’t even have to ask, he will just tell you and tell you and tell you.
VP of Creative Media and Design
Laura has been working as a creative professional for almost 18 years. Kicking off her career in New York City working for CMP Media, a B2B technology focused, multimedia company, she quickly found her passion-marketing and branding. Upon her return to St. Louis, she was responsible for designing and strengthening brand awareness for several St. Louis companies on a freelance basis, including Protective Asset Protection division where she learned about the F&I space. After staying home with her three young children for 5 years, Laura came back to work creating Axiom’s brand from scratch and continues working with dealerships and agents side-by-side to create a better customer experience in the F&I office. When Laura was 7 years old, she wanted to legally change her name to “Summer Rain” which says a lot about her free spirit.
Director of Business Development
Courtney was an essential part of Axiom’s growth since day one. Relying on his “make it happen” attitude, he focuses mainly on expanding Axiom’s national footprint by researching and identifying successful partnerships with exclusive agencies nationwide. Courtney’s attention to detail and ability to solve business problems through extensive product knowledge and innovation gives him an edge in the industry. Courtney enjoys traveling and spending time with his 3 young children and wife, Shannon (he loves Wiz Khalifa and would like to meet him in person.)
VP of Operations
Dave was an important part of the Axiom team from the first day the door opened and has been a critical part of the day-to-day IT logistics from the word go. He brings an extensive background in database integration and a general love of all things IT. Both of these strengths contribute to Dave’s current success overseeing all new client and vendor menu integrations and set-ups, product development, database management, cancellations and internal IT logistics (we’re looking at you, sales team.) Dave loves to ride ATV’s and travel back to his hometown in Florida.
Software Product Manager
Becca joined Axiom as a marketing intern in college and has been designing here ever since. She brings a fresh perspective to the automotive industry that helps shape Axiom’s always evolving technology. From web development, app design and video animation, Becca is always working on a new project (due yesterday!). Becca keeps a secret stash of funny quotes said around the office – so watch your back. Outside of Axiom, she’s addicted to refinishing furniture and bargain hunting.
Senior Director of Claims
Scott started as a mechanic 31 years ago straight out of the Navy and has been in the industry ever since. From diagnostic expert to Director of Claims, Scott knows the ins and outs of vehicle repairs. He oversees all claims operations including adjudication, service levels, customer satisfaction, legalities and recruitment. Scott enjoys bicycling all over Missouri and won #2 overall in the 2016 Missouri State Championship Bicycle Time Trial.
Tanya has over 18 years of experience in the F&I Industry. Whether it is VSC, GAP, or Ancillary, she brings a vast amount of knowledge of F&I products, specializing in areas of Regulatory Compliance and Product Management. Tanya’Âs focus on customer service, compliance, and product development allows her to play key role within Axiom in bringing innovative and compliant products to the market while building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and business partners. In her free time she loves traveling and spending time with her three kids riding ATV’s and horses.
Senior Database Administrator
Our Chicago native, Joe is skilled in the product and dealer set up on the backend of Axiom. With 10 years of experience with Administration and Database management, Joe truly owns the training, rating, dealer setups and maintenance that goes on behind the scenes. His favorite quote is “I’ll sacrifice tomorrow to have fun today” and spends his free time chasing after his energetic son.
Senior Mechanical Claims Analyst
Paul has been working on cars before he could drive, and has been in the automotive industry since 1998. As a talented Claims Analyst, he prides himself on customer service and customer satisfaction. Being ASE Certified, he is more than capable. In his free time Paul enjoys classic car restoration, specifically classic Mopars.
Megan is an integral part of the Accounting team that keeps Axiom running smoothly and Suzanne sane. Between corresponding with dealers, data processing and money management, her attention to detail and work ethic is vital in Axiom’s day to day operations. Outside of Axiom, Megan enjoys playing video games with her young family and binge watching Friends (pivot!!!).
Armed with an extensive background in branding, print and customer relations, Liv rounds out the marketing team with her new ideas and open mind. She helps manage Marketingâs day-to-day tasks and projects and ensures the team is on track to meet our business and client needs. She also manages printing for our marketing collateral, including print orders and inventory management, as well as video deployment and COVI training. Notorious for delivering only good news, Liv is a dedicated pinterest-er and always has 10 simultaneous projects at home. When sheâs not crafting or listening to true-crime podcasts, you can find Liv spending time with her husband, Joe and son, Vinny.
Sales Support Specialist
Melissa comes to Axiom with 14 years of auto industry and sales support expertise. She holds a personal lines license and is well-versed in GAP, VSC and a variety of other F&I products. Melissa caters to our agents and dealers with on-boarding, collateral requests and client relations. Her positive attitude, attention to detail and wealth of industry knowledge make her a perfect fit with the Axiom team. When not in the office, Melissa enjoys movie nights with her family and working on home projects. She satisfies her artistic side by drawing, painting murals and doing crafts with her 2 kids.
With a strong background in customer service, Natalie’s “self-starter” attitude has quickly had a positive impact on Axiom. From processing data into our admin system and day-to-day interaction with Axiom’s clients, Natalie’s attention to detail and speed keeps much of the behind-the-scenes responsibilities at Axiom in impeccable order. Natalie loves spending time outside with her two young boys, Emmett and Eli.
Before joining Axiom, Will interned as a graphic designer for Washington University, the Saint Louis Art Fair, and McCann Worldgroup in Shanghai, China. Will’s sharp eye for design and his lighting fast work pace is integral to Axiom’s marketing needs when it comes to dealer marketing, collateral, internal branding, or anything else we throw at him. He has a taste for spice, and is always on the hunt for the spiciest foods on earth.
Bill began as an Automotive Technician in 2007. With a passion for web design, he decided to go back to school to complete a degree in computer science. With strong backgrounds in web development and vehicle service, becoming a developer at Axiom was a no-brainer. Bill likes to spend his spare time working on home improvements and raising two awesome, energetic young kids.
