DataOne Software is an automotive data source providing data to both solution and service providers in North America across many sectors, including: automotive marketing, transportation, and risk management.

This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about the information we collect, how we use it, and your options regarding certain uses of the data we receive.

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application COVI, herein referred to as (Application), for mobile devices created by Axiom Product Administration LLC. The Application is designed to enhance the customer’s car buying experience and overall owner experience of their vehicle through digital F&I product resources and continuous connectivity with their dealership. COVI provides the customer with access to F&I product coverage and contract detail, the ability to initiate and check the status of claims, keep track of benefit programs, set service appointments, and have quick connectivity to a dealership. This Application also provides factory warranty information specific to the vehicle listed in the customer profile, as well as OEM recommended Maintenance and Safety Recall data.

User Provided Information

The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the during the sign-up process. Registration with us is optional; However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with us.

We collect information when you communicate with us and when you use our products, services, and sites. This Includes information that you provide such as your name and contact information as well as vehicle information and VIN driven data related to your vehicle. We may also collect usage information pertaining to your use of the application and its features, location services, product specific data, and other similar information.

We use this information to administer your Axiom Products, provide account related services, deliver and maintain your products and services, assist you with service-related issues or questions, provide relevant data to your selling dealer, and in other ways that help us to research, improve, and develop new products and services. Some information we obtain is used to authenticate you and your vehicle so that we can provide relevant specific data to both you and your connected dealer.

When you contact us or we contact you, we may monitor or keep record of that correspondence to help us train our employees and to better serve you.

We may also use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.

Information that identifies your vehicle and other personal information may be shared as necessary, such as helping authorities locate your vehicle if you report it stolen or helping roadside assistance locate your vehicle.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application. This Application does collect precise information about the location of your mobile device to enhance the User’s experience, if user elects to use this feature.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. Axiom will not sell, license, or share information that individually identifies our customers with others outside our network of partners including: vendors, underwriters, dealerships, auto-groups, and service providers, that are not performing work on our behalf; without the consent of the person whose information is being shared.

Axiom uses vendors and partners for a variety of business purposes such as to helping us provide, repair, restore, improve, administer, and bill for products and services. We share information with these partners and vendors when it is necessary for them to do work on our behalf. We require that these vendors and partners protect the customer information we provide to them and limit their use of Axiom Customer data to the purposes for which it was provided. We do not permit these types of vendors and partners to use this information for their own marketing purposes.

We may also disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via email, at

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly. We strive to keep our customer records as accurate as possible. We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.


We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application.
